Officials from the popular retailer announced this week that it will now offer the service to all of its membership clubs no later than the end of April, following a lengthy pilot program at 18 stores in the region, a spokesperson said. Instacart will soon be available for all 215 of BJ’s clubs on the East Coast.
Instacart delivery starts at $5.99 on orders of $35 or more. Instacart Express membership is also available, enabling unlimited, free same-day deliveries on orders over $35. After a free trial period, Instacart Express membership is $14.99 a month or $149 a year.
The announcement comes on the heels of a similar proclamation from Costco, which announced it would be expanding its partnership with Instacart to include the availability of dry grocery product through its two-day shipping offer.
